On Tuesdays at Cooper's school, a lawn crew comes to maintain the lawn. They get out their weed eaters, riding lawnmowers, leaf blowers and other various apparatus. The part I find most perplexing is the mowing of the dirt. They MOW the dirt! Maybe they have it in their contract that they must mow, NO MATTER WHAT. It is quite entertaining to see them going back and forth, back and forth, as if they are mowing a manicured golf course. The only crucial piece missing is THE GRASS. It is not just a little bare in certain areas, it is pretty much mainly dirt and sand. There are a few spots where random sprouts of grass have managed to take root, but that is not common. 
On Tuesdays, I'm sure mowing dirt is the highlight of their day. Along with taking a dirt shower...
