Our Neighborhood Women's Club

We met tonight for "Meet and Greet", the first meeting for the new 2008-2009 year. The first meeting is always so fun! Everyone is excited about seeing those that you have not seen since the spring or just sporadically over the summer. We had ~25 women there, which is a great turnout! There were women who came that have lived in this neighborhood for years and never attended a women's club meeting before. Whoo-hoo!!!

There are all age groups represented in our little club. We are the young guns (30 somethings). Then there is every age in between, all the way up to 70-80 year old women. Seriously. They have probably been in the neighborhood since the inception of the neighborhood. Some people have actually lived in more than 1 house in the neighborhood: growing families that need more room to some that need to downsize. We have a wonderful group that coordinates and plans all the fun activities. Speaking of which:
Julie planned all the programs and they ALL look good. Speaking of which, I need to put them on my calender right now, so that I do not miss one. Good job, Julie!
Jennifer is planning the Christmas Auction and, of course, it will be awesome!!! Our theme?

"Cowgirl Chic"

I think it will be one of the best EVER! Way to go, Jennifer!
